As VP eCommerce at UNFI, PJ has spent the last six years immersed in eGrocery strategy with UNFI while overseeing development of complex operational and technological platforms. PJ has collaborated with leading retailers, online sellers, manufacturers and Amazon, to enable UNFI to thrive as eGrocery moved from 1% to 4% and now heads towards 15%+ of the $800B US grocery industry.
Previously, as Co-President of the Honest Green Division, PJ successfully integrated the acquisition of the company he sold to UNFI and expanded the products offered from 1,000 to 50,000 and the eCommerce footprint from one Distribution Center to 5, reaching 99% of US population with 2-day ground service.
PJ has been involved with eCommerce since founding an eCommerce consultancy and web development firm (The Internet Factory) in a converted barbershop in Birmingham, MI in 1994.
PJ earned his MBA at Harvard Business School and a BSBA from Georgetown University.
