Founded in 2011, HelloFresh grew to $1 billion in sales last year--making it the largest meal kit company in the world with operations in 11 countries. To fuel the next phase of its growth, the company recently added its recipes and pre-portioned ingredients to hundreds of brick-and-mortar grocery stores, supplementing the online, subscription-based model that still fuels the majority of its business.
