Tim Laseter is a managing director at PwC-Strategy&; as well as a professor of practice at the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School. As a managing director in the Operations Practice, Tim focuses on helping companies in the Consumer & Retail industry become "Fit for Growth" with a particular focus on Internet Retail Operations. He has over 30 years of consulting experience with expertise in Internet Retail Operations Strategy, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Business Model Innovation. He has spent 13 years teaching in top MBA programs including Darden, Tuck, London Business School, and NYU. And is the author or coauthor of four books, including Internet Retail Operations (Taylor; Francis/CRC Press, 2011).
Tim also serves as a contributing editor to strategy+business where he recently published “A Strategist’s Guide to the Digital Grocery” drawing upon his consulting experience and research to discuss the challenges and disruptions affecting traditional grocers and outlining strategies for survival and success. In addition to being a dynamic classroom teacher, Tim has presented at a host of both academic and industry conferences over the past 20 years. Over the last 18 months, he has presented to the US Fashion Industry Institute in New York, the Grocery Manufacturer Association Leadership Forum, and at the Retail D3 (Dynamic Distribution Disruption) conference.
